Patricia is really in tune with what couples really want. I think if couples would ready this together they would be so much happier. My boy friend & I read it together & lets just say be both would go to bed with a smile on our face.
This story about Jasmine and Alfredo was hot, steamy, and mysterious. This story will leave you aching for more and then some. Lovely story, great places, wonderfully out together. If you haven't read it, it should be the next book you read. A great read to Share with a special someone as well. ) I enjoyed every moment of it.
The story in this book is every woman's dream. The perfect man, in every way possible a woman can ever imagine, plus he is a vampire! And men can read it too. I am looking forward for a sequel to find out what happens next, to see where this hot new relationship takes us readers.
I am a little bias because I know the author and did the cover art but, Patricia Montclair's story of twenty-year old Jasmine who decides to lose her virginity drew me in from the start. Unlike the erotica I have read in the past that felt lewd to me, this book is sweet, gentle, and VERY sensual. I found a reawakening of feelings as I wished for an encounter with Alfredo. And, at my age, I was surprised.
The main character is developed, and there are hints throughout the story as to the character of Alfredo with flaws and all.
Patricia has promised a second, and maybe even a third book with the same characters,and I can't wait.
The book could be longer...I would like that...and the pace could be a tad slower, but this is a wonder read as you soak in a hot tub to relax and read with scented candles all around.
Spoiler alert...Alfredo is a vampire, but unlike any vampire I have ever heard of, seen in movies, or read about in other books.
I would recommend this to people that like a nice short erotic read.
Oh nooooo! It can't be over yet! This story grabs you from the beginning and you'd better hold on tight! The sexual experiences are hot and graphic; the points of interest in England are beautifully described; and the characters are well drawn. I can't wait to find out what happens next and how Jasmine and Alfredo's relationship turns out.
